VARIETIES OF GRAPE: 100% Tempranillo from Rioja Alavesa
ELABORATION:
In stainless steel, temperature controlled, tanks for 20 to 25 days with a relatively long period of contact with the grape’s skin to achieve a good balance between the fruit and tannins.
AGING:
12 months in American and French 225 litre oak barrels, and 6 months in bottle before being put on the market.
TASTING NOTES:
Intense cherry colour, harmonious, well balanced. Fine aromas of spices and toasted wood, with nuances of vanilla and oak, velvety and smooth. On the palate it is mature, full-bodied, with a long and smooth aftertaste, an outstanding combination of its fruity character and the maturity of aging in oak.
GASTRONOMY AND SERVING NOTES: serve between 16-18ºC
